WINERY INFORMATION

A little over an hour drive from northwest of Orange is the Boomey, the origin of Quilty and Gransden Wines and a splendid country escape. Spread over 508 hectares, the Cumulus Vineyard was founded in 1995 by two wine enthusiasts, Russ Quilty and Marty Gransden. The winery is formed with a single line purpose to get as many people drinking the great wines from the Orange wine region in NSW as possible. Following the vision, the duo’s passion and 30 years of craftsmanship combined together, resulted in excellent winemaking and diligent efforts to safeguard the land and its soil. They have planted Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, which sits 600 meters above sea level to provide the finest range of handcrafted wines from selected cool-climate sites.
