Nepenthe Altitude Shiraz 2015 Adelaide Hills - 6 Bottles

Availability: In stock

Pretty Good

The luscious grapes used to produce this dazzling Altitude Shiraz were picked during the cool hours of the night. The fruit was then destemmed and crushed, followed by fermentation in open vats. Post maturation in American and French oak barrels for 16 months, the resulting wine flaunts a bright crimson colour with purple flecks. The fragrant nose exudes vibrant scents of plum, blackberry and raspberry, coupled with vanilla, spice and violet undertones. The palate is elegant and medium-bodied, brimming with blackcurrant and raspberry flavours supported by subtle vanilla oak tones. Velvety tannins integrate with these magnificent characters to end the wine in a long and structured finale. This delicious Shiraz from Nepenthe has been crafted for immediate consumption. Suggested food pairings include veal saltimbocca, beef stir fry and pizza.
