Pretty Good

: This Cabernet Sauvignon under the Finisterre label is a smooth and supple wine with an alcohol level of 14%. It is silky in texture with sweet dark fruits such as black and red currant, cassis and layered earth flavours floating throughout the palate. It may have an off-balance feel at the first sip, but pause for a moment to savour the layered fruit flavours, the bay leaf and peppercorn undertones, and the smoky and cedary potency of this wine. This wine was given 96 points by critically acclaimed wine critic James Halliday. Pair this wine with sticky barbecued beef tips and pan-roasted veal chops.
