Pretty Good

: A Australian-iconic blend of 60% Shiraz and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, this red was aged for a period of 14 months in 40% new French oak barrels. Poured into a glass, it flaunts a rich brick red colour. Revealing a depth of fruits, the wine exudes aromas of blackcurrant and blueberries. These fragrances pave the way for a rich palate offering velvety and supple characteristics along with earth and forest floor fruit flavours. Complemented by mint, light spice and bitter chocolate, it eventually culminates in a lingering finish. Savour it with meat pie, Aussie beef burger, or beef and quince stew.

WINERY INFORMATION:

Located in the Pyrenees region of Australia, Taltarni Wines was established in 1969. The owner, John Goelet, found the terroir similar to his homeland, Bordeaux, and thus started by planting Bordeaux grape varieties. He later decided to expand, now producing a premium and diverse range of red, white and sparkling wines.
