Robert Stein Vineyards Half Dry Riesling 2017 Mudgee - 12 Bottles
Availability: Out of stock
The grapes for Robert Stein Half Dry Riesling were handpicked from the bottom half of the 42-year-old Mudgee vineyard. Fermentation on skins by natural yeasts and maturation in older French Barrels provided a light yellow colour to this wine, along with green hues. It's citrusy on the nose with classic lime notes, while floral characters and a hint of sweetness follow through to the palate. Well balanced with fresh natural acidity on the finish, this off-dry Riesling pairs best with oyster and prawn dishes.
WINERY INFORMATION
Robert Stein planted the Mudgee vineyard in 1976, but the Stein family has a rich and long wine history when it comes to Riesling. Dating back to 1838, the Stein family was among the first to successfully plant this variety in Australia. Situated 550m above sea level, Stein's cool-climate vineyard produces exceptional quality fruit that makes wines of incomparable characters.
