Pretty Good

This wine shows a deep garnet red colour, lighter on the rim, youthful in appearance and with a slight purple tinge. This is an elegant, sweetly rich, smooth-flowing and harmonious Pinot Noir full of supple tannins. Its depth of black cherry fruit and dark red berry fruit along with lifted violet dark red florals leaves no doubt regarding its varietal expression. Vibrant spice notes and liquorice unfold with aeration. The palate is well-balanced, delicately structured with a velvety texture and leads to a particularly long, dignified finish. The nose gives depth of dark cherry with subtle oak-induced spice which provides texture coupled with earthy influences. Being a dry red medium-bodied wine, this goes well with spiced crispy duck skin, seared chicken liver, vegan enchiladas, fennel-garlic pork roast, stuffed eggplant with lamb and pine nuts, and oven-baked salmon fillets.
