Rutherglen Estates was established in 1996 by a group of wine enthusiasts, who were looking for an ideal location to produce premium regional wines. The estate’s first vines were planted in 1997 in collaboration with RE Vineyards Management, a reputed vineyard development group of the Rutherglen region. The winemaking team led by skilled winemaker Mark Scalzo crafts a distinct and innovative range of intense and complex, regional wines.
