The concept behind our Equilibrio range is to promote the very best barrels, clonal mix and new oak integration to create a few cases that will benchmark each vintage potential. Some would call it Reserve but we call it Equilibrio as, at the end of the day, it is all about harmony and balance. This is a predominantly 777 clone wine with a good dollop of D4V2 (let me not mention the chateaux) and a top up of MV6. The wine displays strawberry and cherry fruit flavours fused with gamey, mushroom and herbal tones. A good spicy lift at the back of the palate leads to length and persistence on the finish.The wine is a perfect balance of Fruit, Oak, Acid and Tannin, hence EQUILIBRIO!
