Popular in the US, Australia, Scandinavia, the UK, Asia, and of course, New Zealand, Squealing Pig was established in the year 2011 in NZ’s South Island. The talented winemakers behind the brand are Spring Timlin and Duncan Shouler.
Squealing Pig Sauvignon Blanc was made using fruit sourced from vineyards in the Awatere River wine region. The loose gravel in the soil imparts the wine a distinctive minerality. Poured into a glass, this flavoursome drink exhibits a light straw colour enhanced by subtle green hues. The vibrant nose comprises of tropical fruit and fresh herb fragrances leaping out of the glass. The bright bouquet sets the tone for the lively palate, which refreshes you with fruitiness of green pineapple, citrus and passionfruit, leading to a long, yet focused finale.
