Taltarni Blanc de Blancs is vintage 2012 and was recognized as the recipient of a trophy during The Cool Climate Wine Show in 2015. When poured into the glass, the deep straw yellow liquid has a layer of fine mousse and persistent bead on top. The nose is greeted with a lifted bouquet of apple, brioche and citrus fragrances. It is creamy and luscious with a pleasantly textured mid-palate and a smooth finish that lingers long after you've taken a sip. Freshly shucked oysters make a lovely food pairing with this refreshing sparkling wine.

WINERY INFORMATION

Independently owned by the Goulet family, Taltarni was established in the picturesque Pyrenees region in 1969. The family has a strong French influence that is carried on in their winemaking philosophy. Balance, intensity, texture, complexity and length are integral in crafting high quality and award-winning wines that have garnered accolades from various wine shows such as the Royal Melbourne Show and awards such as Los Angeles Times International Best Red Wine.
