Pretty Good

Styled dry, this Escarpment Pinot Blanc was barrel fermented and aged for 11 months, prior to bottling. The resultant wine shows a taut lemon colour when poured into a glass. On the nose, this fantastic Martinborough wine has distinct fragrances of its varietal fruit. The palate is impressive, and filled with subtle spicy fruit flavours finishing powerful and fresh. Enjoy this white wine young, alongside salmon crusted with potatoes and served with herb salad.

Escarpment Vineyard was established in 1998 as a joint venture between Robert and Mem Kirby, and Larry and Sue McKenna. Located in New Zealand’s Martinborough district, Escarpment focuses on producing definitive New World wines. They source their fruit from the Escarpment Te Muna Road vineyard. This vineyard is famous for its deep alluvial gravels that produce distinctive characters in the fruit, which is reverent in all Escarpment wines.
