Tim Adams The Fergus 2016 Clare Valley - 6 Bottles
Availability: In stock

Tim Adams The Fergus is a blend of Tempranillo, Grenache and Malbec grapes. Flaunting a ruby red colour, this wine exhibits fragrant berry aromas while its complex palate displays flavours of red berries infused with spices. Adding Malbec to the mix provides the palate with added berry and violet flavours. This mouth-filling and elegant Clare Valley wine pairs wonderfully with lamb, duck, turkey and gamey meats.
Tim Adams Wines was born of a partnership between Tim and Pam, and the local coopers - Bill and Jill Wray, in 1984. The winery was recognised as one of the top ten iconic winemakers of Australia in the book by David Aylward and Paul Ashton - Ten Apostles. The nineteenth vintage release of Tim Adams’ Fergus is named after their neighbouring wine producer, who sold them his Grenache grapes during an acute shortage of Cabernet as well as Shiraz grapes in 1993.
