Two Hands McLaren Vale Angels Share Shiraz 2022 - 12 Bottles

Availability: In stock

Pretty Good

The wine has a deep, dark brooding red colour with a black core. Feisty aromas bursting with fresh blueberries, bramble, white pepper, blackberry, dried lavender and woody herbs meet the nose, while repressed notes of coal dust and sweet spice lurk in the background. The palate is treated to flavours of blueberry pie, plum, glossy dark cherry, “fruits of the forest” and mulberry fruit, coupled with fresh acidity and fine tannins. These tannins are round and supple and tighten on through the back palate. Light hints of dried herb, mocha and lavender pace on through the length of the palate. This is a classy wine that emphasises the primary attributes of fruit from the McLaren Vale region. This wine pairs well with beef Wellington, hard cheeses, grilled lamb, lentils with smoked ham hock and Moroccan dishes.

WINERY INFORMATION

What began as an idea of Michael Twelftree in 1999 gained significant momentum, and is now known as Two Hands, a well-known and prominent winery whose original vision was and still is to craft the best possible Shiraz-based wine from the successful wine-growing regions of Australia, displaying the full range of Australian Shiraz by focusing on the fruit’s most prized feather. To this end, they have gained recognition locally as well as internationally, and have in fact earned a spot in the “Wine Spectator’s Annual Top 100” list for the 10th consecutive year, an achievement as yet unrivalled by any other winery.
