WINERY INFORMATION:

Max’s Garden exhibits a rich, earthy texture with lifted spice and a well delineated fruit profile. This is a wine with a soft elegant framework that complements the Garden Series for its distinctiveness. The orange Cambrian soils on which the vineyard is based, thought to be some of the oldest soils in the world, are the inspiration for this label’s colour. After a slow yet even ripening period, the fruit was handpicked with great flavour and amazing natural acidity and low pH. The fruit was gently pressed and only the free run was fermented in stainless steel. Left on fine lees for 7 months to build texture and weight. This wine was then lightly fined, filtered and bottled.
