Private Bin Chardonnay features a pale yellow colour with green highlights throughout. This delightful Chardonnay exudes fruity aromas and flavours of ripe peaches, citrus and figs which are supported by a creamy texture and subtle oak notes. The finale is delicate, clean and lingering. This medium-bodied white wine has been crafted to be enjoyed upon release either as an aperitif, or with seafood, chicken Caesar salads and antipasto platters.
WINERY INFORMATION
The success of Villa Maria portrays the vision and determination of its founder – Sir George Fistonich, for producing superior quality wines that consumers can enjoy. He leased a 5-acre plot of land from his father to plant his own vines in the year 1961 and harvested his first grapes in 1962. In 2001, the company declared its winery a ‘cork-free zone’ and released all wines from the 2002 vintage onwards, sealed using screwcaps.
