Wattle Tree Riverina Semillon Sauvignon Blanc 2013 - 12 Bottles
Availability: Out of stock

Wine Description:- Looking over the back of my family’s property growing up, the one thing blocking my view of the vines was a Wattle Tree. This tree grew as I did. And as i grew older, I had the chance to make wine like my Father has done before me. With this the Wattle Tree holds a strong place in my heart, as has been there with me into growing into who I am today. I hope you enjoy our Wattle Tree wines. Bouquet:- Hints of tropical fruits such as passionfruit Palate:- A zingy palate upfront of lemon and lime, rounding out with an amazing passionfruit finish Suggested Cuisine:- A great accompaniment to fresh seafood such as scallops and prawns. Washes down well with a great salad such as pear and walnut, with Rocket. Cellaring:- Can be cellared for up to 2-3 years, though is ready for immediate enjoyment Vintage Conditions:- 2013 saw low rainfall in spring with January being quite dry and warm. The dry weather allowed fruit to reach optimum ripeness with goods balance and acidity and flavour. Some light showers fell in late February which helped to freshen the fruit but not enough for disease to take hold. Vintage started later than 2012 but finished with a flurry with all whites and reds harvested by the end of march,. Quality is above average.
