Pretty Good

Flaunting a pale straw colour with green hues, this wine emanates the punchy, aromatic nose showcasing fresh gooseberries, guava and citrus blossoms with a hint of fresh herbs. The flavours are generous and fleshy. However, the palate displays gooseberries and white peach finishing with refreshing, slatey acidity. Indulge into a platter of mixed cheese, dried fruits and nuts when you are dining in with Sauvignon Blanc.

WINERY INFORMATION

Co-founded by brothers, Tim and Simon in 1999, Wicks Estate Wines is regarded as one of Adelaide Hill’s finest premium wine producers in Australia. The craftsmanship of this family-owned winery lies in producing handcrafted wines from their vineyard situated at Woodside. However, before entering the wine industry, there was a Wicks family fruit orchards and nursery at Highbury in 1918 by Timm and Simon’s great grandfather L.J. Wicks. Almost after 81 years, the 54-hectare property was purchased for its unique aspects and terrain diversity that led to the business in the cool climate wine. Today after 20+ years, the Wicks Estate winery is a family affair involving the new generation.
