The Wilson Vineyard Handplunge Shiraz 2017 Clare Valley - 6 Bottles
Availability: Out of stock

Handplunge takes it's name from the technique used during fermentation where the cap is plunged down into the fermenting must by hand. Like a tea bag in a cup of tea, the flavours and colour are gently extracted. Fermented in 1 tonne open topped fermenters the Handplunge is made in limited quantities (typically 100 dozen) and spends 15-20 months in carefully selected new American Oak barriques. Colour: Dark red/black in colour Nose: The nose is dominated by mocha aromas with spicy nutmeg and coconut. Palate: The palate is rich chocolate and sweet fruits with black pepper and silky tannins that give a luxurious mouth feel.
