Angove Estate is a family owned business with a history that dates back to 1886 when Dr. William Thomas Angove came to South Australia with his family to work as a doctor. He settled in Tea Tree Gully near Adelaide and began making wine for this patients to use as tonic. From those humble beginnings, this family grew into what today is one of Australia’s oldest family owned wine companies. Angove Estate wines are crafted really passionately. They produce exotic single vineyard wines from McLaren Vale region along with some premium wines from great South Australian soils.
