The Baileys of Glenrowan Estate has been in the winemaking business for over 140 years, during which it has developed a strong reputation for producing sophisticated, excellent - quality and fruit - driven table wines as well as fortified varietals. The sprawling 143 - hectare estate, located in the Warby Ranges combines centuries - old vineyards and houses a skilled and dedicated team of winemakers and viticulturists, forever striving to live up to the standards and heritage of the winery since 1870. Vines of Shiraz, Muscadelle, Durif and Muscat grown in the vineyards are planted in the lower slopes of the hill ranges, looking over the Winton Wetlands. The cooling winds from the wetlands and nutritious soil of the hills form a micro - climate unique to the area in which the grapevines can grow and thrive. Organic farming was introduced in 2009 and the vineyard became certified in the year 2011.
