Pretty Good

In a glass, the Cab Sav flaunts a deep crimson colour with vibrant purple hues. The nose exudes aromas of plum and blackberry spice with vanilla toast. The palate reveals flavours of ripe blackberry, dried herbs and olive complemented by integrated toasty oak. Rich tannins give the wine weight and persistence.

Founded by George Wyndham in 1828, Hunter Valley-based Wyndham Estate is one of Australia’s oldest wineries and vineyards and is currently owned by Iris Capital. In 1830, George, also known as the father of Australian Shiraz, planted Australia's first commercial Shiraz vineyard in Hunter Valley. The winery has now been reverted to its original establishment name Dalwood Estate. It has won four gold medals, seven silver medals, and two bronze medals for its wines at the 1982 International Wine and Spirit Competition in England.
