Known for producing wines that are affordable and easy to drink, Yellow Tail was started by John Casella of Casella Family Brands in the year 2003. While the company is based in Yenda, Riverina, the fruit for wines is sourced from vineyards in South Eastern Australia. Yellow Tail is driven by the belief that good wine should be good fun too, free from complicated wine rules.
The fun Yellow Tail Cabernet Sauvignon was made from premium fruit parcels, procured from various vineyards in South Eastern Australia. It features a dark red colour when poured into a glass. The aromatic nose and rich palate are brimming with blackcurrant and mocha characters, lifted by some spice. Coupled with velvety tannins, the full-bodied and vibrant palate culminates in a satisfying finale. Like all great wines by Yellow Tail, it is best before two years from bottling. Pair this pleasant drink with Sunday roast, Asian BBQ lamb ribs, or beef tenderloin with blackberry dressing.
