Vintage Conditions

The 2019 vintage in the Yarra Valley experienced favourable conditions, with a warm growing season that allowed the Pinot Noir grapes to reach optimal ripeness. These conditions helped develop rich, concentrated flavours while preserving the varietal's signature elegance and acidity.

Winemaking Process

This Pinot Noir is crafted from estate vines planted in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The dry-grown and hand-tended vines ensure low yields and high-quality fruit. After careful handpicking, the grapes undergo fermentation and the wine is aged in new French oak barrels. This process imparts a subtle spiciness and complexity, enhancing the wine’s depth and character.
