Credaro Five Tales Chardonnay 2023 Margaret River - 12 Bottles

WINERY INFORMATION:

The Credaro family’s rich and vibrant winemaking history can be traced back to the 1920s, when Cesare Credaro settled in Carbunup, near Margaret River. He worked in one of the region’s first vineyards, which was planted around the year 1915 near Commonage Road. Today, the Credaros own a 1200 tonne winery as well as 140 hectares of vineyard in Margaret River.

TASTING NOTES:

This medium bodied wine was produced from the finest Chardonnay grapes obtained from two lush vineyards, in Carbunup and Wilyabrup. In a wine glass, the drink flaunts a pale straw colour with green tints. Its perfumed bouquet emits fresh aromas of melon and citrus with a gentle floral touch. These citrus characters replicate on the well balanced palate, where they are joined by stone fruit flavours and a hint of French oak. The finale is smooth, and is marked by lingering flavours of ripe fruits. This wonderful white wine will cellar gracefully for 1 to 5 years. This modern Australian Chardonnay is best served with brie cheese, yogurt marinated apricot chicken skewers, or vanilla cake.
