In 1928, Vittorio De Bortoli founded De Bortoli Wines. Since its inception, this family-owned business has flourished immensely with its third generation currently overseeing the business. The fruits are sourced from five vineyards located in the famous Hunter Valley, King Valley, Heathcote, Yarra Valley and Riverina regions. Steve Webber, the Chief Winemaker, believes in crafting wines of detail, texture and minerality, charm and interest, characteristics that are acquired from the site and season.

TASTING NOTES

This classic red is a blend of Syrah and Gamay Noir grape varieties sourced from the famous Yarra Valley. It flaunts a vibrant red colour with purple edges. A whiff of the drink reveals dark and red fruit aromas complemented by notes of graphite and dry herb. These alluring fragrances make way for a rich and textured palate offering supple flavours of blueberry, spice, earth and forest. You may enjoy this wine young with tapas, pork or even hamburgers.
