TASTING NOTES

De Bortoli Sacred Hill Sparkling Brut Cuvee is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. This light bodied wine displays a pale straw colour. The attractive bouquet exudes aromas of fresh cream and bread dough, with clean citrus and floral notes. These fragrances give way to a lively and textured palate containing fresh fruit flavours balanced by light and zesty mineral acidity, to end in a delicate and persistent climax. This sparkling Brut can be cellared for a brief term of 3 years from vintage. It is a great match to foods like natural oysters with a squeeze of lemon and black pepper.
