Peter Ganfield – owner and winemaker at Emmetts Crossing Wines, envisioned a wine market with more affordable wines from the premium Dwellingup region. To achieve this goal, Peter and his team are constantly striving to reduce production costs, without compromising the wine quality. Peter’s commitment and dedication have led to Emmetts Crossing becoming a key player in the Aussie wine industry.
TASTING NOTES
A number of aromatics and primary fruits come together to express spices, grapefruit, honeydew melon, thyme and citrus fruits. The palate is soft and wonderfully integrated and textual. Showing flavours of figs, grapes, and golden delicious apples among others. This wine shows lovely texture and creaminess on the palate and it all finishes with a crisp and lingering burst of freshness. This wine would be perfect with most seafood and can also carry some spice.
