WINERY INFORMATION:

The Tweddell family bought a premium piece of land in the Lenswood sub-region in 1994. They planted it with 24 hectares of grapevines, laying the foundation for the establishment of the Nepenthe wine company. The company presently owns a total of 4 vineyards spread across the Adelaide Hills region - the Lenswood, Charleston, Balhannah and Hahndorf Vineyards.

TASTING NOTES:

This delicious Altitude Chardonnay from Nepenthe showcases a pale yellow colour. A whiff of the wine reveals peach and nectarine aromas, with light hints of citrus following close behind. A sip presents fresh nectarine flavours. Crisp citrus acidity drives the elegant palate to a dry and lingering finale. Made for consumption upon release, this enticing white wine is a perfect match to foods like roasted French garlic chicken, frittatas, and pea and ham soup.
