TASTING NOTES
This Red Claw Shiraz from the Heathcote Estate culled from 100% Shiraz variety with a liquor style of Dry Red. The wine is a deep fiery colour and has balance, texture and length. The aroma is dominated by lifted spice and dark berry fruit with repressed scents of pepper and subtle French oak. The palate is opulent and silky, filled with lingering dark-fruit intensity. It has fine structure and superb concentration. Here, we recommend authentic Australian dishes to pair with this charming Shiraz: roast lamb with apricots, meat pie, Aussie beef burger, chocolate pavlova, rack of lamb, sausage rolls or BBQ lamb ribs.
