TASTING NOTES :

The Te Kano Central Otago Chardonnay is a small-batch wine, with only 10 barrels produced, making it a rare find. Made from hand-picked grapes from the Northburn and Bannockburn vineyards, it’s fermented and aged in French oak for over 10 months, resulting in a wine with great depth and character. 
You’ll pick up aromas of peach, gala apples, white nectarines, ripe apricot, and a hint of honeysuckle, with buttery oak and vanilla notes. The taste follows with fruity stone fruit flavours, a creamy vanilla texture, and a touch of toasted oak, while crisp acidity keeps the finish fresh and lively. A fantastic wine for fans of Central Otago Chardonnay, it pairs well with fresh snapper and will continue to improve through 2025. This wine earned a well-deserved 94 points, and we’re confident you’ll taste the excellence with every sip.
