The 2014 Adelaide Fringe Festival

The Adelaide Fringe Festival is the biggest Arts Festival celebrated yearly in South Australia’s capital, Adelaide. It usually features over 4,000 artists from all over Australia and the whole world. New artists, hit shows, and world premieres gather up in one place for the whole world to see. More than 900 events are presented in different venues like warehouses, parks, lane ways, theaters, cafes, art galleries, and hotels.
Adelaide Fringe kicks off with free celebrations like parade and parties. Comedies, cabarets, physical theater, circus, puppetry, visual art & design, film, and music can be enjoyed during the festivities.
For this year, a lot of Australians enjoyed and will still enjoy the 2014 Adelaide Fringe. It’s good that there are lots of ways to enjoy Fringe. There were freebies and discounts so everybody got their Fringe fix.
Free Events
The Adelaide Fringe 2014 offered several events for free such as the Fringe Parade, Fringe in the Mall, Fringe Free Bus, and The Garden Sessions. As a matter of fact, free events will continue for about another 2 weeks.
BankSA Support Act Tickets
There were almost 120 shows subsidized by BankSA. Tickets were kept for as low as $10. Among these shows are The Beautiful & The Damned by Miss Fortune, Luminous by Art Kinetica, and OzCabaret’s After-Dinner Wine Tasting.

Tuesdays are special at the Fringe so make sure you check out all Tuesdays of the Fringe Festival to enjoy shows and events at discounted tickets.
