Vineyards & Vintage Conditions
Sourced from old-vine Shiraz blocks in Blewitt Springs and Whites Valley, the vineyards benefit from sandy soils, cooling afternoon breezes, and long growing seasons that build intensity while retaining freshness. The 2019 vintage was marked by low yields and concentrated fruit, producing Shiraz with power, structure, and beautifully ripe tannins.

Winemaking
Small parcels of hand-picked fruit were fermented separately with gentle extraction to preserve fragrance and texture. Partial whole-bunch fermentation added aromatic lift and spice. The wine was matured in seasoned French oak puncheons for 18 months, ensuring oak influence was subtle and integrated, allowing the fruit’s purity to shine. Minimal fining and filtration respected the wine’s natural character.
