Long night celebrations and simple dinner parties are not complete without Henkell Sparkling Wines. Henkell has been a part of countless moments and significant memories for many generations. The magic that Henkell brings makes every minute you share with the people that matter to you special. From birthday parties, corporate meetings, and merrymaking, there is always a reason to celebrate with Henkell.

Henkell Trocken

In 1856, Adam Henkell started the rich history of producing premium quality sparkling wines. More than twenty years earlier in 1832, Adam was already formulating great tasting wines and selling them in his small store to the patrons in Mainz. It is, however, behind Otto’s (his grandson) genius leadership when Henkell Sparkling Wines opened its doors to the international market. In the late 19th century, Henkell Trocken was slowly introduced to the world as an authentic German specialty. Since then, Henkell became symbol of top-rate German sparkling winemaking.

For more than 150 years, Henkell Sparkling Wines cultivated the tradition of making their great tasting wines available to more than 100 countries worldwide. Throughout the years, the winery has undergone major improvements to meet the ever growing demand for their products. But the classic sparkling wine taste that everybody loved since its conception stayed the same; just like the passion and hard work that they had exerted for the art of winemaking.

Indeed a force to be reckoned with in the world of sparkling wines, Henkell Trocken proves to be a valuable flagship of the winery that has gained its popularity because of its taste and great value for money.

Henkell Trocken is a dry and fully matured sparkling wine made from select classical varieties of grapes from well-maintained vineyards in long-established wine growing regions in Europe. The fresh harvest is processed in traditional wineries using a manufacturing procedure called Méthode Charmât wherein the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in stainless steel or full steel tanks coated with vitreous enamel rather than placing the liquid in individual bottles.

Henkell Trocken has an attractive yellow colour with glowing shades of green. Its aroma is described by dominant fresh and fruity scents with a surprising hint of citrus fruits. It also has a refreshing taste, a balanced sweetness and dry wine properties, and a rich flavour enough to be enjoyed in generous amounts. Henkell Trocken features a persistent aftertaste and a fine and pearly mousseux.

Because of the 11.5 alcohol percentage per volume and the balance between its sweetness and tart, Trocken pairs well with most food categories. European, spicy Asian, Mediterranean and Mexican dishes are worth a try when drinking a glass or two of Trocken. Avocado salads, seafood dishes and meals rich in dairy products are some classic dishes that can match the Trocken’s interesting combination of flavours.
