In the late - 1980s, the Morrison family procured the vineyard and established the brand ‘Hay Shed Hill’, naming it in reference to the old hay shed located in a desolate corner of the estate. In the following years, Hay Shed Hill saw a lot of ownership changes as well as amendments in the labels, wine styles and distribution patterns of the vineyard. In 2006, the vineyard was bought by a group of partners who now privately own the estate. This group is made of skilled and experienced winemakers and grape - growers who re-established the Hay Shed Hill name and switched back to all the old practices that the Morrisons employed. Their dedication and passion is the reason behind Hay Shed Hill’s growth into a renowned Margaret River wine label.

Pitchfork, the sister label to Hay Shed Hill was developed as a complement to the single vineyard variety wines that Hay Shed produced. Pitchfork got its name from the tools kept in small hay shed on the Hay Shed Hill property. Pitchfork wines are made using only Margaret River fruit that has been carefully grown and hand-picked. These wines are vibrant, intense, juicy and full of fruity flavours, ready to be enjoyed anywhere and anytime.
