Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz

One of the best vintages ever released is the 2013 Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz. Its deep crimson colour with tinges of bright red adds a touch of elegance to this great tasting wine. With enough hard work, passion and patience selected fresh Shiraz grapes are fermented and matured for 18 months to enhance the complex structure of the wine. Low vineyard yields also contributed to the richer Shiraz characters with balanced flavours, acids and tannins.

Wolf Blass Gold Label Shiraz features a fragrant bouquet of blue fruits and plums with undertones of dark chocolate, aromatic ground coffee and chicory, and hints of star anise. The palate of this full-bodied wine is filled with smooth and rich blue fruits, dark berries and iconic Satsuma plum. Notes of toasty French Oak balance fine acid characters and silky tannins.

This wine is best enjoyed on release but a six to eight-year cellaring will reward to a fully integrated blend of flavours.
