Winery Overview

Angove Family Winemakers is one of Australia’s leading organic grape growers and producers. Their organic range is grown with no synthetic fertilisers, pesticides or herbicides, and crafted with minimal intervention to let the fruit speak clearly. The Rosé is sourced from their certified organic Nanya Vineyard in Riverland, South Australia.

Winemaking

Shiraz grapes were picked early in the morning to preserve natural acidity, lightly crushed and pressed to limit skin contact (to avoid too much tannin & colour). Fermentation was conducted in stainless steel under controlled temperature, with a selected yeast strain to maximise aroma retention. During blending, a small amount of Sauvignon Blanc is added to lift the palate.

Overview of the Wine

This Rosé is a light, easy-drinking expression made mostly from Shiraz grapes (with a splash of Sauvignon Blanc) from the 2024 harvest. It’s fresh, crisp, and built for enjoyment now.

Tasting Notes

• Appearance: Delicate, soft pink hue.
  

• Aroma: Notes of strawberry, blueberry, crunchy watermelon, with a hint of apple.
  

• Palate: Crisp and clean, abundant red berry flavours (strawberry, red berries), finishing with a clean, refreshing edge. A very drink-young style.
