Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The fruit for this Rosé was sourced from Angove’s certified organic vineyards across McLaren Vale, a region renowned for its Mediterranean climate and cooling sea breezes from the Gulf St Vincent. The 2023 growing season enjoyed mild temperatures and excellent rainfall early in the year, producing grapes with bright natural acidity and lively, balanced flavours. Organic vineyard care, with no synthetic herbicides or pesticides, nurtured the vines and enhanced the vibrancy of the fruit.

Winemaking

Select parcels of organically grown red grapes were gently harvested and pressed with minimal skin contact to achieve a delicate blush hue. Cool fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserved the fresh aromatics and crisp fruit flavours. The wine was left briefly on fine lees to build texture and mouthfeel while retaining its refreshing style.
