Established in 1866, Audrey Wilkinson is a historic Hunter Valley winery renowned for crafting benchmark Semillon. Perched high on the Brokeback Range foothills, its vineyards benefit from cooling breezes and exceptional sunlight, producing wines of purity and elegance.

Vineyards and Vintage Conditions 

The 2024 vintage in the Hunter Valley was defined by a mild growing season with early summer rains followed by dry, sunny conditions during harvest. Semillon from sandy alluvial soils developed bright citrus flavours, low alcohol, and crisp natural acidity—hallmarks of the region’s classic style.

Winemaking Process

Fruit was harvested in the cool early morning to preserve freshness, then gently pressed. Fermentation took place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with cultured yeast to maintain fruit purity. No oak maturation was used, allowing the varietal character to shine.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw with green tints. Aromas of lemon zest, lime blossom, and subtle herbal notes. The palate is crisp and lively, offering citrus and mineral flavours with a long, mouth-watering finish. Built to enjoy young, yet capable of graceful ageing.
