Bethany Wines is family-owned business, established in 1981 by fifth-generation brothers, Geoff and Robert Schrapel. One of the oldest established wineries in the Barossa Valley, the brand sources fruit from 150-year-old estate vineyards along with wine growers in the Eden Valley. Their philosophy has remained the same for more than 30 years now, producing exceptional quality wines that naturally reflect ‘the microclimate of the Barossa ranges along with the flavours of family vineyards’.

TASTING NOTES

This Grenache from Barossa Valley flaunts a beautiful ruby hue. On the nose, it emanates red cherry and redcurrant aromas complemented by subtle hibiscus flower and clean red earth notes. These elements pave the way for a wonderful palate revealing crunchy red berry and orchard fruit flavours with subtle spice hints and powdery tannins. It eventually culminates in a lengthy and balanced finish. Relish this with barbecued or roasted red meats, beef stew, or pasta cream sauce.
