Bethany Wines is a family owned wine company producing an exceptional range of elegant and food-friendly wines. These delicious wines showcase the unique regional flavours of the grapes, as well as the terroir characteristics of the family vineyards. The Schrapel family planted their first vineyard in 1852. Fifth-generation winemakers, Robert and Geoff Schrapel, established the company in 1981.
TASTING NOTES
Post maturation in French and American oak for 18 months, GR13 Reserve Shiraz showcases a crimson red colour with a stunning purple rim. The refreshing bouquet offers vibrant aromas of plum and blackberry. These fragrances are reflected on the rich palate, where they further integrate with natural acidity and fine tannins.
