This dazzling Brookland Valley Verse 1 Chardonnay features a pale straw colour with bright green highlights. The lively bouquet gives off fresh aromas of nectarine, white peach and citrus fruits, with lights hints of oak, hazelnut and butterscotch lurking in the background. These fragrances are replicated on the generous and luscious palate, containing flavours of melon and white peach, with cream and nougat characters from oak maturation adding complexity to the palate. The aromas and flavours combine with a fresh layer of lemon acidity, offering a lengthy and captivating finale. Peach and grapefruit flavours are complemented by the subtle vanillin oak characters of this finely textured wine.
