TASTING NOTES
The Bonsai Vine GSM is a stylish blend of 46% Grenache grapes with 45% Shiraz and 9% Mourvèdre grapes. The resulting wine showcases a dark purple hue. It displays tarry, ferrous and black clay notes, with light sootiness offering intense elements. The perfumed bouquet reveals fruity aromas of mixed forest berries and spice, with hints of dried fruits evident in the backdrop. The palate is juicy and punchy, brimming with generous fruit flavours and graphite-like notes, supported by dry tannins. These pleasing flavours and fragrances offer a smooth mouthfeel, culminating the wine in a supple and enticing finish. Suggested food pairings for this stunning red blend include rosemary braised lamb shanks, grilled beef and aged Cheddar.
