The winemaking team at McLaren Vale based, award winning winery d’Arenberg is led by Chief Winemaker Chester Osborn. He is known for crafting wines using traditional methods. The company was founded in the year 1912 by pioneer Joseph Osborn, who sold his stable of horses to purchase a property for this business.
TASTING NOTES
This aromatic The Feral Fox Pinot Noir from d’Arenberg Wines shows a bright cherry colour. A swirl of the glass reveals an amalgam of red fruit aromas and savoury nuances. This alluring Pinot Noir is crunchy and lively on the palate, full of raspberry, rhubarb and pomegranate flavours coupled with mushroom, cedar and forest floor undertones. Punchy acidity and chalky tannins drive the palate to a refreshing finale. This versatile red wine has been crafted for consumption upon release.
