Dal Zotto Wines was established by Otto Dal Zotto, who was born in the Italian wine region of Veneto, and later moved to King Valley. Over the years, the patriarch has helped pioneer Prosecco in Australia, the grape variety and sparkling wine which Veneto is renowned for. Every Dal Zotto wine combines three elements - family, tradition and innovation. With the company’s strong belief that one’s roots are as important as their future, family is central to their philosophy.

TASTING NOTES

The elegant Dal Zotto Sangiovese Cabernet highlights the best of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, procured from King Valley. It features a vivid purple colour with youthful hues throughout. This dry red exudes lush aromas and juicy flavours of sour cherries, brambles and dark fruits, with hints of rolled tobacco leaf. Fine and dusty tannins fuse with these gorgeous flavours in a medium bodied palate to provide a lingering and captivating finale. It is a great match to tagliatelle with ragu and shaved Parmesan cheese, roasted meats, and salumi.
