Vineyards and Vintage Conditions

The Dixon’s Creek vineyard in Yarra Valley enjoys a cool climate with well-drained soils, ideal for Chardonnay. The 2022 vintage was mild and balanced, allowing for slow ripening and the development of pristine fruit with excellent natural acidity.

Winemaking Process

Hand-picked grapes were whole-bunch pressed and fermented in French oak barrels (a portion new) with wild yeast. Partial malolactic fermentation and lees stirring added texture and complexity. The wine matured in oak for several months before bottling.

Tasting Notes

Pale straw with green hues. Aromas of white peach, citrus blossom, and subtle cashew oak. The palate is elegant and finely textured, featuring stone fruit, grapefruit and hints of nougat, supported by fresh acidity and a long, mineral finish.
