Deakin Estate Shiraz 2022 Murray Darling - 12 Bottles

WINERY INFORMATION:

Vineyard- The fruit for this wine was harvested from our family-owned Deakin Estate vineyards in the Murray Darling region, North West Victoria. Winemaking -The Shiraz was fermented at moderate temperatures with pump overs programmed for a desired soft tannin effect. Pressing and malolactic fermentation was followed by clarification and maturation on small amounts of premium quality French and American oak chips.

TASTING NOTES:

Deep, vibrant red. Rich and juicy with dark berry flavours and well-balanced oak. The palate shows a good structure with medium tannins and a lingering finish. Best enjoyed now but may be cellared for up to four years to enhance more chocolaty, aged notes. Food Pairing - Hearty beef and stout pie, roast rack of lamb or mild Asian beef stir-fry. Also, perfect while standing around a BBQ.
