Descendants of Arthur is part of Macaw Creek Wines, a boutique, family-driven winery founded by Rodney Hooper in 1992 in the Gilbert Valley, South Australia. The estate, cared for by Rod and his partner Em, embraces certified organic viticulture and handcrafted winemaking in restored 1880s stables on land held by the family since the 1850s.

Grown in South Australia under organic management, this Chardonnay reflects careful vineyard stewardship. The 2023 season brought balanced weather conditions that allowed the fruit to ripen evenly. The result is a wine with freshness and clarity, showing the true character of the region.

Winemaking
