WINERY INFORMATION:
Yarrabank is a joint venture between iconic Yarra Valley producer, Yering Station, and Champagne house, Devaux. Created in 1993, the venture reflects the committed vision of Champagne Devaux president Laurent Gillet, to produce a benchmark Australian sparkling wine. Combining centuries-old tradition from Champagne with a contemporary approach to winemaking, Yarrabank is renowned for pushing the boundaries of Australian sparkling wine production.
TASTING NOTES:
This Rosé is a classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties. Flaunting a light salmon pink colour, the delicious wine emanates aromas of bright fresh citrus melon notes with a hint of strawberry fruit. Toasty fresh-baked bread adds to the complexity. Tight acidity provides great texture to the drink along with long and lively mouthfeel with fine bubbles. The drink eventually culminates in a crisp, dry finish with strong persistence.
