WINERY INFORMATION:

Yarrabank is a joint venture between iconic Yarra Valley producer, Yering Station, and Champagne house, Devaux. Created in 1993, the venture reflects the committed vision of Champagne Devaux president Laurent Gillet, to produce a benchmark Australian sparkling wine. Combining centuries-old tradition from Champagne with a contemporary approach to winemaking, Yarrabank is renowned for pushing the boundaries of Australian sparkling wine production.

TASTING NOTES:

A classic blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grape varieties, the wine flaunts a strawberry blonde appearance. A swirl releases aromas of strawberry, pear with hints of almond and yeast. The creamy palate with integrated acid provides balance to this unctuous yet elegant wine. The strawberry, stone fruit, citrus and pastry characters provide further structure. The balance is maintained through to the back of the palate, which ultimately finishes with excellent length.
