Crafted by the Grigoriou family, fourth-generation wine growers, the Farm Hand wines are organic, vegan friendly and made with minimal preservatives. Situated in the Monash Valley of South Australia, the winery enjoys a moderate, dry climate with very low rainfall during autumn and fertile soils are perfectly suited to organic viticulture. The vines (up to thirty years of age) are planted widely apart for airflow to minimise disease pressure, and minimal drip irrigation ensures low yielding fruit with rich flavours and varietal expressiveness.

TASTING NOTES

The fruit for this Sauvignon Blanc was harvested during the early morning hours to retain freshness and partially pressed. This wine is a blend of 65% Semillon grapes with 35% Sauvignon Blanc grapes. Flaunting a pale colour, it emanates citrus, cut grass and intriguing spice flavours. Driven long by bracing acidity, this vibrant, racy and extremely food-friendly wine is perfect for warm alfresco dining. Team it up with creamy smoked salmon and dill pasta.
